Hours of operation
The Family Medicine Clinic operates from 0630 to
2230 Monday through Friday, except on the day of observance of
Federal holidays when it is closed. Hours for After Hours Care
are described in a separate paragraph below.
The specific schedule for each health care
worker for each 2-week period will be scheduled 1 month in
advance by the Division Head. The contractor need not provide
back-up coverage for contractor health care workers during
periods of approved leave.
The hours for the clinic will be 0800 to 2000
Monday thru Friday, 1000 to 1830 weekends and holidays, and is
closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. After Hours Care combines
the services of the Henderson Family Medicine Clinic, the Marine
Corps Air Station Family Medicine Clinic, the hospital Family
Medicine Clinic, the Pediatric Clinic, and the Emergency
Department Fast Track and will be staffed by personnel, active
duty and contractor, from each of those five clinics. The
combined services will achieve staffing efficiencies and provide
centralized gateway for after-hours patient access.
The 8½-hour shifts include an uncompensated 30 minute meal
break.
